Uses For VentureShield This optically clear film is specifically designed to help keep your vehicles paint in showroom condition. VentureShield is highly resistant to UV, oils, chemicals, and environmental damage. Its rock chip and abrasion resistance are specifically designed to help protect the painted surfaces of: Cars, Vans, Trucks, MotorHomes, Motorcycles, Boats, and even Aircraft! The most commonly protected areas are: Hoods, Fenders, Bumpers, Headlights, Mirrors, Door Edges, Door cups, Rocker Panel areas , and Motorcycle Gas Tanks. We have found numerous other uses, including circuit protection for auto electrical components and even as protective covering for ice arena advertising signs that are subjected to major stress from hockey stick, puck, and skate strikes. Special Care: For most vehicles, you simply wash and wax your VentureShield film just as you do your regular vehicle paint.
You should periodically apply a custom plastic polish such as Plexus to the film. You can purchase Plexus at our showroom, at Multicraft Plastics (in Eugene at 225 Madison) or on the web from the Amazon.com
store (search for "plexus").
Installation Time: This depends upon your vehicle and the VentureShield pattern complexity, as well as how many surface areas you need to have protected. An average partial or complete vehicle application normally takes a full business day, and you can pick your vehicle up the next morning. Application Over New Paint: Due to the thickness of the VentureShield film, we recommend waiting at least 30 days after new paint repairs before installing the clearbra. Applying the film too soon will cause bubbling and lack of adhesion as the solvents evaporate from the new paint.
