Auto Trim & Signs of Eugene, Oregon is the only certified installer of LLumar tint in Lane county, and has been tinting autos and motorhomes for over 20 years.

LLumar is the worlds largest manufacturer of window tint. Both Llumar and SunTek offer a lifetime warranty.

Your automotive window film not only increases the value of your vehicle, but also benefits you in a number of other ways:

Blocks The Suns UV Rays, which are harmful to your skin, interior plastics, and upholstery.

Reduces Glare which creates safer visibility.

Blocks Heat Buildup which increases your comfort.

Helps Holds Shattered Glass In Place for greater security in accidents and to help hinder vandalism and break-ins.

And It Looks Great!

If you are tired of squinting at the sun, install a 6" tall "banner" of dark tint to the top of your windshield. This banner helps reduce the sun's glare that always seems to edge around your sunvisors when you are driving into the sun in early morning or late evening. Normal cost $45.

Call us today at 541-686-3000 to schedule an appointment to have window film professionally installed in your vehicle!

Nearly all vehicles now are manufactured with 70-77% "tinted" glass. However, this tint is a result of natural oxides in the glass and sometimes from added colored dye and does not generally block UV rays. Sport utility vehicles, vans, and trucks may come from the factory with darker (usually 15%) tint that is normally laminated between the glass of rear or back windows. This type of laminated tint does block most UV rays.
The % tint numbers reflect the amount of light that is allowed into your window (ie: 35% tint allows 35% outside light into the window and blocks 65%). Operating a vehicle in Oregon with darker than legal limit tint is a class B traffic violation. Passenger vehicles in Oregon are allowed only 35% tint on all windows except the windshield. Generally, vehicles built on a truck frame are allowed 35% tint on the front driver and passenger windows, and 35% or darker on any back or rear window.

The exact text of current Oregon tint laws is listed here, or visit the official website at http://www.leg.state.or.us/ors/815.html and scroll down to section 815.221

We have showroom examples of all the available levels of tint in our office. In addition, we normally have employee or customer vehicles at the shop that you can examine with window tint installed.

Warranty Information: Both Llumar and SunTek automotive films are covered by a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. This warrants against peeling, cracking, adhesive failure, demetallization, and delamination.

Special Care: Window tinting is applied to the inside of your vehicles windows. It is most important to not roll your windows up or down for 4 days after tinting, until the window film has completely bonded to your auto glass. Accidentally rolling windows up or down before this time can peel back your new tint, void your warranty and require the tint to be removed and reapplied. After 2 weeks you may wash your tint with ammonia free glass cleaner. Protect your quality tint from scratches (pet claws, abrasive cleaners, hard plastic toy edges, etc.).

Installation Time: Complete vehicles are done in one day - drop them off the day before or in the early morning and pick them up that afternoon. We are open til 6 PM weekdays, and will keep your vehicle locked in our shop if it is being left overnight.

What If I Want Darker Tint?: We will only tint to within the legal limits of the state your vehicle is licensed in. In Oregon, we can legally tint darker if you have a signed notarized affadavit from a physician.

Can You Tint My Windshield?: You cannot add dark tint to your windshield (except for a 6" tall sunblock banner at the top), but you may install a clear UV film. Most windshields already come with limited 84 to 87% UV protection that does not block all the UV-A and UV-B rays. Installing clear Llumar UV film increases your protection to 99.97% of UV-A and UV-B rays.

What About Tinting Office or Residential Windows?: We recommend calling Gary at Commercial Tint 800-308-5510 who also uses Llumar (Vista) film.

What Else Can I Tint?: Tint can be applied to most glass windows (buses, Motor Homes, etc.) but will not adhere to polycarbonates (like most boat windows & helmet visors)
